About Blessing Home

Blessing Home Assisted Living is a senior care facility located in Castro Valley, California, offering compassionate elder and palliative care. 

Our assisted living facilities provide care for elderly people who need help performing daily tasks such as preparing meals, bathing, dressing, mobility and medication management. We can also offer short-term intermediate care for individuals who need assistance with independent living, but do need some level of assistance with daily living.

We provide care services and activities such as hygiene assistance, personal grooming, mobility assistance, meal preparation, diet monitoring, house keeping, errands and shopping for seniors, transportation, medication management, medication reminders, appointments, social and physical activities and other senior care services. We also provide elder care for those who suffer from mild cognitive impairment.

Our assisted living facility does not provide housing for elderly people who have severe medical conditions that require constant medical attention. We have an excellent staff but they do not monitor those with severe chronic conditions or other major health issues.

Our Care Plans

Eldercare is not one size fits all. At Blessing Home Assisted Living, we do not try to fit our caregivers into a mold. Instead, we create a unique connection with you and your loved one to serve your individual needs. We are not here to disrupt your loved one's life. Rather, we aim to make their life better. We want to be part of your family's life and create detailed care plans so that we can help them live comfortably and feel secure. Our qualified and independent caregivers will respect your loved one’s style of living while they are with us. Our goal is to provide help for any of their day-to-day activities they may struggle with, such as eating, bathing, dressing, getting around, etc.

A Healthy and Active Life

Good health begins with good nutrition. Nutrition is important, regardless of your age. Good nutrition gives you energy, which helps you control your weight.  Good nutrition may also help prevent some illnesses, such as osteoporosis, high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, Type II diabetes and certain cancers.

We are committed to helping out the residents of this facility with their health needs. We provide nutritious meals and food supplements to help them exercise and keep them hydrated. We also involve them in as many activities as we can so they can be active and socialize with others.

Be Informed

Monitoring the health care of your loved one is our top priority. We want to make sure you are kept informed about your loved one’s condition. We will watch them closely so that we can alert you if there is anything out of the ordinary.

Allow us to help your loved one receive the quality of care they deserve, as we watch over them at all times, looking for medical emergencies and any deviations from the norm. We can provide the 24-hour care assistance that you may not be able to.

Our custom-built residential care home was designed with safety, accessibility and superior comfort in the forefront. With a vaulted ceiling, this living room offers a stunning view over the grandly proportioned dining and family room. At the heart of our home is the spacious granite-finished kitchen that flows into the family room with a gas fireplace and flat screen TV. Sleeping accommodations are arranged for privacy, and there are seven bedrooms and three handicap bathrooms.

This home has a great location near downtown San Francisco, the Bay Bridge, and BART. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to all amenities. It's also a short drive to the airport, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

The custom home is a great place to stay because it has all the amenities you need to relax and unwind. Each room has a flat screen TV, a comfortable bed, and a private bathroom. The custom home also has a beautiful outdoor area where you can relax and enjoy nature.

Our goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for our residents. We want them to feel comfortable and at home. We also want them to be able to live life to the fullest. We offer a variety of activities such as arts & crafts, exercise classes, and trips to local attractions.
